*Yep, that's the giant man from a week or so ago, and from the scenery it's obvious he's in Violet City. He's absolutely roaring with laughter from the back of his larger-than-usual Tauros.

And electricity is crackling from his fingertips. Also, does his hair look more spiky and yellow than normal?* Ha! If this world thought to lay me low from disease once again, it was sorely mistaken!

But if fever and illness are what must be endured as a price for these ... capabilities-- *SPARKS. Into the air!* --then so be it!

How fitting for the heir of mighty Zeus himself, would you not agree? Come, friends! Show me the bounty of your newfound power!

*CAREFUL or you might get run over by a man charging through the streets on the back of a Tauros with thunder crackling from his hands. And yet, he seems to be, in his own way, methodically testing his new capabilities in terms of the materials he's zapping - rarely with enough force to do any harm, though.

He rears his Tauros to a halt, patting its flank affectionately.*

In a manner, lord of Rome! Swift Minos cannot be contained in such a small container for too long; he yearns to work his legs!

*He rounds the Tauros in her direction, trotting over to her. He'd tower over her normally; on the mount it's kind of ridiculous.* I see you have brought your companions. Far more impressive than any of the beasts I encountered on my journey!

[ In response, her Garchomp lets out a brief roar at Alexander and his Tauros, mostly at the difference in height between his trainer and Alexander. Sheesh. Saber pats his arm briefly. ] Calm yourself, Morsus. He is no threat.

[ She smirks back up at Alexander. ] Indeed, you have a beautiful beast at your side as well. Speaking of things of beauty, I have something to present to you! Machina.

[ With a simple wave of her hand, her Metagross' eyes shine a bit before the machine levitates the wooden sword over to Alexander and having it float patiently in front of the huge man. ]

I hope you receive this graciously, King of Conquerors. It may be of wood, but it is certainly sturdy and crafted with confident expertise! You will find the design almost indistinguishable, too.

*He arches a bushy eyebrow at the way the sword floats through the air.* Then these creatures have such magic of their own... how magnificent.

*In the next moment, he snatches the hilt of the sword, casting off its wrapping with a swift flick of his wrist, and he holds it up to the moonlight, hefting its weight in his hand.* What superb craftsmanship! The artisans of Rome must have been great indeed.

I mean to test this blade now, Saber. You and your companions ought to stand aside.

[ His comment about her homeland threatens to make that smirk on her lips to split her face wide open, but she contains herself. ] That we were, and as you can see, I was once one of its greatest!

Very well. I am eager to see how it handles in your grasp. Let us go.

[ She gestures to her two Pokemon to move with her to the side, crossing her arms as she waits. ]

*He edges the Tauros away from the crowd, and then digs his heels into the Pokemon's sides, urging it onwards - the bull rears up magnificently before bolting forward. There's a strange singing war cry that bursts from Rider's chest as he holds the sword straight out to the side - and in a lightning-fast sweep, cuts a low-hanging branch neatly off a nearby tree.

He looks pleased as he brings the bull to a halt.*

[ FORGIVE NERO'S INNER ROMAN FANGIRL FOR ALL THINGS GREEK. She may have nearly squeale-- no, no. She merely claps in praise and awe and happiness! ]

An enjoyable show! Such power!

*He sweeps it through the air again, and yet again, testing its balance, before he guides the bull to face her again - and repeats his charge, now back in her direction, skidding to a halt before the emperor.*

Yes! Yes, this sword will serve me well!

[ The dust his Tauros kicks up as he stops before her is only a minor hindrance, as she's more interested in what he's saying. ]

A worthy sword for a conqueror, indeed! As of late, I have been experimenting with my Pokemon on manipulating metal, but it will take... some... t-time...

[ Okay, no, wait. That dust has gotten to her more than she'd like. Her nose wrinkles and not before long, she jerks her head to the side and sneezes a brief, but powerful stream of fire, so much so that the air even wavers. Her Metagross takes several measured steps away from his trainer, due to type disadvantage, and Nero sniffs afterward. ]

... how embarrassing.

*That, however, gets an uproarious laugh out of the King.* Ha! I had no idea that the emperors of Rome were themselves descended from magical beasts!

[ She pouts! ] We have traces of divine blood in our veins, yes! Nubile Venus' - your Aphrodite - blood traces itself with mine, and she was highly regarded as our protector. Truly, that must be why my power has manifested as fire: such an element represents my love and passion!

*He grins down at her.* Well said, lord Saber! Though surely you must admit that it is more impressive still to be the heir of the mighty thundermaker Zeus, yes?

Mighty Jupiter, King of Conquerors, and I will admit that it is high praise to descend from his own line, but a divine is still a divine! That gives us the of sovereignty!

Aye, you speak truth! But the divine right to rule is only part of the path of kingship.

Oh? Enlighten me on the other part, lord Conqueror. There are many facets to such a road.

You must inspire your people to follow you! Present the ideal to which they can aspire and become their vision of greatness that they may try to emulate it!

[ It's only a momentary pause, but Rider's words on inspiring her people to follow her... Hah. She simply smiles at that, and quickly grows wider as he continues. ]

I have certainly accomplished that feat during my reign! And when I performed, I saw that many of my citizens were inspired by my talent, and enjoyed them greatly! Let the ruler be the subject of envy, aspiration, love, and even hate to their people!

Finely said! A king must desire more and speak more loudly than any of his subjects, for only then will he be fit to lead!

Ambition is the fuel to any ruler's reign, yes! If they do not have that, than they are nothing more than a figurehead.

And that is a sorry state indeed. Many wish to control the throne, some skillfully. A true ruler must never let them!

Although it is a rather admirable skill in itself for a ruler to survive multiple assassination attempts, of course.

Bah, dishonorable wretches! If you mean to kill a man, kill him while looking him in the eye and crossing your blade with his!

It is unfortunate, but many rulers down the path of history have been done away in such a fashion, not many share your sentiment, King of Conquerors.

[ Then again, Saber has some experience conducting assassinations herself, so... ]
